Perhaps it was only a matter of time. After Becky Lynch scored a huge victory over Divas Champion Charlotte on Raw, the titleholder viciously attacked her friend — with a little help from her WWE Hall of Fame father Ric Flair. Oh well, it’s lonely at the top. Wooooo!

But on the first USA Network edition of SmackDown, The Lass Kicker will be back and will no doubt be ready to overcome Natural Selection in a Divas Title Match. Charlotte will clearly do anything to keep the butterfly-emblazoned title. But Becky is out to prove the has what it takes to rise above the flair.

True to form, The Lass Kicker’s Survivor Series team is as eccentric as the Diva herself. She even picked one extra teammate.

“I got Tiger Mask, Dynamite Kid, Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts, Dean Malenko and Mick Foley,” said Becky. Apart from Foley, who got her “reinvested” in sports-entertainment, personal favorites Tiger Mask, Dynamite and Malenko are must-haves, the last name in particular. “Technician. Unbelievable. Man of 1,000 Holds; I am The Woman of 1,000 Armbars. Potato, po-tah-to,” she went on.

As for “The Snake”? To borrow another guy’s nickname, it’s because he’s the total package. “The way he talks, the way he moves, the snake. Everything about Jake ‘The Snake’ Roberts I used to love when I was a kid, and I still love him.”

Becky Lynch appears to be lost in the shuffle a bit with WWE’s main roster “Divas Revolution,” having no singles matches since August, but she was an important cog in NXT’s growth, especially the Women’s division. She spoke to about Wednesday night’s main event.

“It’s an unbelievable moment, because this is what you grow up dreaming about and hasn’t happened before. To see it done by two people that I’m close with and respect so much and inspire me, it’s incredible. To train with them and work with them, it’s an incredible time for anybody coming up in wrestling, especially women,” Lynch said.

Lynch, who noted she sat next to Stephanie McMahon, said she kept looking at the clock and didn’t want the Iron Man Match main event to end.

“I don’t think it’s just good for wrestling, I think it’s good for the world. As far as I’m concerned, what they just did, they changed the world. They just showed that women belong in the main event. That’s going to continue on to the main roster, too, ” said Becky.

At SummerSlam the Divas Revolution will reach new heights when all three factions spearheading the cause — Team Bella, PCB and Team B.A.D. — collide in a Triple Threat Team Elimination Match.

The game transformed forever on the July 13 edition of Raw when Stephanie McMahon famously got in the face of Team Bella and emphatically declared that it was time for change in the Divas division. That catalyst for change came in the way of NXT cornerstones Charlotte, Becky Lynch and NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks simultaneously debuting on WWE’s flagship show.

The three trailblazers wasted no time making an impact, with Charlotte & Becky aligning with Paige, and Sasha joining forces with Naomi & Tamina to form the new factions of PCB and Team B.A.D. As the WWE Universe went berserk in approval, the newly formed units swiftly took out the boastful Team Bella. The climate change was tangible; a revolution had truly begun.

Since then, the three factions have clashed in various matches on both Raw and SmackDown, often multiple times a night. All three sides have obtained victories, but none has been able to establish itself as the sole dominant entity in this new Divas dynasty.

Now, with the eyes of the WWE Universe firmly on them, these three stables will compete at SummerSlam to see who can lay claim to the distinction of deities of the Divas Revolution. Can Team Bella prove themselves as the torchbearers of the division by prevailing under the bright Brooklyn lights? Or can either PCB or Team B.A.D. leave the Bella Empire in ruins by picking up a monumental victory?

To watch these Divas not only take chances, but also center stage, watch SummerSlam, live on the award-winning WWE Network on Sunday, Aug. 23, at a special start time of 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT!
